Mission: To honor the memory of our beloved daughter, Catherine Meyer Jeans, and to aid in research and awareness for Leukemia and other cancers.
This Garden was built in memory of our daughter, Catherine Meyer Jeans, who lost her very brief battle with Leukemia on Feb. 3, 2003 at the age of 5. It is a work in progress as we are always adding new features. We see it as a never ending work of love.
Catherine loved to play in the creek that runs through the Garden so that is why this spot was picked. She loved the outdoors and all the things it brought. Her favorite past time was looking for dinosaur bones in the creek bed.
We raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Catherine’s memory and many of those functions are held at The Garden. We’ve also had many friends use Garden for pictures and weddings.
